FAQ.
Most questions come down to one thing: what happens when you draw on a bag and then clean it. Here's the honest answer. The practical stuff is further down.
How do you clean the bag?
Use your climbing brush. The same one you use for your chalk works perfectly on the bag. The chalk sits on the surface, it doesn't soak in. It takes about 20 seconds of brushing, and it comes off. No water, no soap, no scrubbing.
Skip the washing machine and the dryer, though. The neoprene and the magnets won't survive either.

What does it look like after a while?
Fresh chalk marks show up bright and clear. You'll see exactly what you drew. After a week or two, they're still visible but noticeably fainter. Lines left on for weeks can ghost: a faint grey shadow you only catch in the right light. A stiff brush will get rid of that too.
Over months it earns a little patina: soft edges, the odd shadow of something you drew and liked. Most people leave it. The bag ends up holding a record of what you wrote, which is the point. The photo shows one after six months of drawing and cleaning. That's what it really looks like.

Everything else.
Does the magnetic closure actually stay shut?
Yes. The magnetic rim pulls it closed on its own, and the buckle clasp locks it down for transport. Standing at your feet or packed in a bag, the chalk stays where it should.
What do I draw on it with?
Chalk, the same stuff you climb with. White chalk on the matte black surface is the whole idea: marks show up bright and brush off dry when you want a fresh start.
Does the chalk come off on my hands or gear?
No more than a chalk bag already does. Fresh marks shed a little dust. Brush them or give them a minute and they settle. They won't smear across the rest of your kit like wet ink.
Can I use my own chalk?
Yes. It's a standard chalk bucket: loose, block, or a refillable ball, any brand. The free 100g gets you started; after that, whatever you climb with.
Only black, or other colours?
Black, and only black. Matte black is the canvas. The white chalk you add is the only colour it needs. No other colourways, by design.
What's in the box?
The bag. And 100g of chalk for the first 500 pre-orders so you can start drawing immediately.
Do you ship outside the EU, and what does it cost?
EU first during the launch window. The rest of the world opens up once the first EU orders are out. Exact rates show at checkout for your country.
More products soon?
Maybe. Depends on how this one goes.
How do I return it?
Within 30 days, and only if the bag is still blank. Once you've drawn, written, or marked on it, it's personalised and can't be returned. So try it, feel it, inspect it. Just don't draw on it unless you're keeping it.
Return shipping is at your expense — you choose the carrier. Damaged or wrong on arrival? Free replacement or full refund, email us within 48 hours with a photo. Full steps on the returns page.
